A Jesus Moment
I want to thank all of you who have been reading God’s Daytimer over the last couple of years. This was the blog where I sort of learned how big chunks of the whole Internet thing works. Along the way I got off track from what I had originally intended when I started the site. My original thought when I started looking into blogging was that it would be a good discipline for me to work on my writing. I have felt for several years that I would eventually write a book or two. Anyway, as I got into everything that you could do on the Internet that might have an impact on ministry, I ventured into all sorts of ideas and got away from why I started in the first place. In January I decided to try and get back to my original idea and I set up a new blog called A Jesus Moment. I chose this name because it is the working title for the book I am writing. I started working on the blog and until now I have not been telling anyone about it. I wanted to see if it was going to be something I would stick with. Now, you are the first people I am inviting to check out my new blog (actually I am hoping you will check it out and sign up for the free email subscription) and see what you think. I have made it a much more personal blog that I update frequently with devotionals, readings, and my thoughts and ideas. I have been doing some short videos that I think you will enjoy. I have also linked the site to my facebook and twitter accounts to make it more of a social event. My hope is that this new site will be a lot more interactive. I would love to get some input from all of you by encouraging you to comment and add your own thoughts.
I would be honored and blessed if you would take the time to sign up for a free email subscription to A Jesus Moment. You can do that in two ways. You can go to the site at www.ajesusmoment.com and sign up there, or you can just fill in your email address in the form below. Once you enter your address it will ask you if you are sure and then it will send you a confirmation email. You will need to open the email and click on the link to activate your subscription.
I have a lot of ideas that I will be implementing on A Jesus Moment over the next few months and I would love for you to be involved. Thanks for your time and consideration.
What’s going to happen with God’s Daytimer? For now, I will be using God’s Daytimer to post the Bible Studies I am teaching on Wednesday Night. I am not sure what the future holds for the site. Book number two might be called God’s Daytimer.
