Romans 15:2

Romans 15:2 (NIV)
“Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.”

This verse is a good reminder about how we are supposed to treat one another. We are to look for ways to build up and encourage each other. Unfortunately, we often get stuck in a very self focused attitude that causes us to be overly aware of our own situations and not aware of hat is going on with other people. This verse encourages us to encourage others for their good. One of the cool things about God, is that you step out of your self to encourage others, you will be encouraged as well. That is just how He has set up the universe. Encourage a couple of people today and you will be encouraged as well!
