38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
We have been talking about the Ministry of Encouragement on the Preaching in Shorts and Internet Pastor sites. One of the ideas that has come up recently is the new Encouragement Equation which is based on Luke 6:38. The equation is this:
U + 2PE = 3PE
What this equation says is that when you (U) encourage two people (2PE), the result is that three people are encouraged (3PE). This is because God will pour back into your lap the encouragement you give out. So get out there and encourage at least two people every day and you will receive the encouragement of God.
